The film is a contemporary drama that centers on veteran rancher and former sheriff John Landsburg (Voight). Landsburg is forced to face the federal bureaucracy when an old enemy seeking revenge (James Caan) over a decades-old grudge falsifies documents and alleges Landsburg doesn’t actually own his beloved family ranch. John however isn’t the type to go down without a fight. Melanie Griffith, Teri Polo, Lee Purcell, Kevin Lingle, Shane Woodson and Cory Scott Allen co-star. The film was shot entirely on location in Kentucky in January.

Editing is on Premiere Pro CC 2015. Film was originally planned for 4K acquisition but producers decided on 2K using Arri Alexa classics. To achieve the right "look" during editing, I'm utilizing Arri's Rec709 LUT, applied directly to the timeline in Premiere.
